  • LAKE WYNONAH – This lake is two and one-half miles long, is up to 90 feet deep and covers approximately 175 acres. Both motor powered and non-powered watercraft are permitted. Water skiing and other water sports are allowed, but since there are no designated swimming areas approved for public use, there are no lifeguards present at any time. There are two no fee boat launching sites; one at B-Dock and the other at the Marina. Several boat docking sites are available to rent on a yearly basis. Picnic facilities and in some areas playground equipment are located at each dock area. Additional access to Lake Wynonah is along the dam breast. A gas pump is located at the marina, where gas for boats can be purchased only while an attendant is on duty. The marina is open Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays only between Memorial Day and Labor Day weather permitting. Hours are set on a yearly basis. Check the flag–if it is up the attendant is on duty.

  • FAWN LAKE – Fawn Lake is also known as the “little lake”. It is 3/4 of a mile long, up to 45 feet deep and covers approximately 27 acres. Only non-motor powered or electric motor powered watercraft are permitted. Again, as in Lake Wynonah, since there are no designated swimming areas approved for public use, there are no lifeguards present at any time. There is one no fee boat launch site on Fawn Lake located at A-Dock. This dock area also has a pavilion, picnic tables, horseshoes and playground equipment. This area is available on a first come, first serve basis (the pavilion may be rented). Other areas for public access at Fawn Lake include lot 481, Sarsi Cove and the dam breast.

  1. For many small investors, the long-term ownership makes the most sense, said Pat Callahan, a lawyer owner and founder of the American Association of small property owners. You have plenty of time to overcome market fluctuations, and rent a nice complement to your day job. Find enough rental properties, and the owner can get a day job.
